Like many other ladies, I love mixing extremely feminine/delicate pieces with rougher, more stereotypically masculine pieces. Not that anything in this outfit could really be described as masculine by any stretch of the imagination, but you get what I mean. When I pulled out this frilly blouse with its lovely lacy collar, I gravitated to black for the rest of the outfit.
If you look closely at the detail shot of my skirt, you’ll see that it has little Hello Kitty heads sort of stamped on there. Amazing! I love that it’s a cutesy detail that takes this skirt over the top, but its also subtle enough that negative nancies who would criticize an adult wearing such a thing might not notice. I can chose subtlety sometimes, right? ;)
My heels also came with these cute, removable bows. I love having the option to tone them down or go all out girly, but knowing me, if there’s a chance to add more bows to an outfit, I’ll usually take it!
I love this outfit, you look fantastic! Your right, the little detail on the skirt is amazing, it is such a great mix of edgy and cutesy. The pink blouse really brings it all together. I’m also totally in awe that you are comfortable walking in those shoes, I would be all over the place! xo
