Yesterday some friends and I stopped by the Rock N Roll Craft Show at a local glass blowing factory (!!!). It’s an annual St. Louis event featuring alternative art, crafts, and live music. I got a few gifts, mostly for myself. ;)
Rock N Roll is different from other craft shows I’ve been to in that they organize all items into little departments, so if you’re interested in buying clothes, you look through the racks rather than each individual’s table. You pay at one check-out area and they send each artist/craftsman a check afterwards.
I have mixed feelings about that. It was interesting and sort of helpful, but what I enjoy most about going to craft shows is seeing the artist there with their crafts and interacting with them. I love seeing them look so happy and proud of their work and excited to be talking to others about it! Meeting people is part of the fun!

My favorite part was definitely seeing all the gorgeous prints from CRAZY talented local illustrator Dan Zettwoch and the always amazing folks from Firecracker Press. Swoon. Makes the fire in me dying to set up my own screen printing area at home that much stronger!
Also the bacon, spinach, tomato crepe from the Holy Crepe! truck. ;) Sooo gooooodddd

Of course I have to share what I wore!

Hair Bow: Vintage | Faux Leather Jacket: UO | Necklace: Forver21 | Shortcake Ring: Tasty Peach Studios | Dress: BCBG | Leggings: JCPenny | Boots: Kohl’s
This faux leather jacket was my big black friday score. I usually only venture out that day if my mom feels like it and needs help, but I had to drop Andrew off at work at 7:45am so I thought I might as well stop by UO–they had all clearance an additional 50% off before 10am. The jacket was originally around $100, marked down for being an online return and I ended up getting it for $20! Aw, yeah. I spend about $45 total and got two dresses, a shirt, and a tank top, too.
Every time I wear these leggings I feel like a 70s hair band rocker, so I thought they were appropriate for the Rock N Roll Craft Show. ;)

Oh my goodness, is that a felt Sailor Moon pin?! I love it!
I need to find some craft shows in my area – this looks like a lot of fun!
Yes it is!!! I LOVE IT. Haha, the reason it’s not included in my outfit details is because I bought it at an anime convention artist alley booth and don’t remember who made it. :(
I’m addicted to craft shows. They’re really fun and super inspiring. I always want to go home and be really productive! They’re dangerous for my bank account, though. I just want to give everyone money who’s out there hustling with their own handmade hard work!
What a sweet looking event! :D And ya look beautiful, darlin’! This outfit is like, modern rockabilly perfection! Great fit on everything, and I lurve the nails & all the cute nerdy details! I totally have to have one of those transformation badges now dang it haha. Anyway yay, awesome post miss!!

That craft show looks so awesome! Although I can definitely see it be a bit of a let down to not easily meet the artists and vendors. Oh and ps, your outfit rocks. Massively rocks. You look so super cool! :-)
This looks like so much fun! I loooove your hair up like this! So gorgeous.
