Last night I stopped by the Contemporary Art Museum for the 4th Annual Holiday Etsy Sale! Beth posted about it on FB earlier that day and I was really surprised I had never heard about it! There were some awesome vendors in attendance! I got to put some names and faces to pieces I saw at the Rock n Roll Craft Show and check a present off of my “to buy” list. An evening well spent!
I got a super cute business card wallet thingy from the adorable DownZipper booth. A very practical and badly needed treat for myself.
I was able to meet one of the lovely ladies behind The Foundrie. They’re responsible for the perfect peter pan collar necklace from this post! It’ll be seen in an outfit post asap, I’m sure! Please go check out their website to see how gorgeous their store is, by the way. The Foundrie ia a hidden gem selling handmade and vintage wears at a local mall. Yeah. I’m smitten.
How cute are these icon ornaments?! I love them! Made by the very sweet Erica Smith from Live & Kern.

Andrew was only able to snag one non-blurry photo of my outfit. I appreciate the effort! Haha.
Hair Bow: Forever21 | Fur Stole: Vintage | Faux Leather Jacket: Target | Velvet Dress: Thrifted | Shoes: Payless
I shed more than my pomeranian when I wear this stole, but I feel like such a fancy power bitch in it! It hasn’t really been cold enough to truly appreciate its luxury, but yesterday night was close enough.
I don’t have too many items of clothing that I restrict to seasonal wear–I definitely advocate layering summery dresses and cut-off jean shorts with tights and sweaters–but even though this velvet skater dress is sleeveless, I just don’t feel right wearing it until around November. It just feel like a festive, Christmasy treat.

Fancy Power Bitch.
You’re the best!!
Seriously though, I am so in love with how these booths have been decorated. I have done the small indie business thing a couple times before, but never delved into craft shows (and etsy wasn’t much of a thing then, either). I feel like booth design would be my favourite part of doing a craft show. Maybe it’ll be in the cards in the next couple years! Seems like such a load of fun :)
