The Big Book of Cats is a weekly illustration project. In 1998, I was 11 years old and decided to make a 200 page encyclopedia of anthropomorphic cat girls. I’ve made a vow to honor this horrific piece of literature and redraw every cat girl and post a new drawing along with the original for the internet’s amusement. Want to know more? Read my official introduction here and check out all the drawings so far here!
You’re welcome and I’m so so sorry.

Another stunning bout of creativity! Last week, we met a cat girl named Kitty and this week I reuse the name Jenny. Jenny #1 was a spunky cowgirl and Jenny #2 is perhaps a very enthusiastic aerobic instructor?

I love her spandex, bouncy pigtails, and braces! I actually drew quite a few cat girls with braces–I guess that was indicative of my peers at the time?–but this is the first time I’ve included them in my redraw! Jenny #2 has the cutest toothy grin. She is excited and ready to GO for this 7am zumba class and she’s only on her second energy drink! She’s PUMPED!

That aerobics instructor is super intense, but man I love her! She seems like she stated the truest to the original out of all the cats so far, and I love that you kept her braces. I don’t think I’ve be up for one of her classes, though…
Love the colors here! Orange kitties are my favorite :) Her braces are adorable haha and I love your little explanation too!

Ladies and gentlemen, Sammie’s first comment on my blog.
I get so excited when it’s a Big Book of Cats day. I just flip through my bloglovin feed and feel a little jump in my spirit–excited to see who we’ll meet, today.
Aww, Libby, that’s the sweetest comment to receive! :) So glad you enjoy them!
Love the intense face and leg warmers! I just LOVE this series!
Diggin the braces.

Thank you, doll! <3 I’m so glad!
I love the way that the pattern of her fur gives the illusion of abs. So cute!
