Product Review: TheSnugg iPad Case

A few weeks ago, the kind people over at TheSnugg.com contacted me about sending one of their products for a little review. I try to be discerning about product reviews, because I know it doesn’t always come off very well to me when a fashion blogger writes a review on bottled water or some other random nonsense they got freebies for. After checking out their products and seeing some well-designed, on-trend items, I decided this would fit in with the interests of my readers, so here we go!

I’m a clumsy, scatter-brained person, so using protective cases on my phone, camera, and iPad are necessary. I’m stuck with my old iPhone 3GS for a few more months, so I chose a leather iPad 4 case (this one) since my boyfriend, Andrew, has one that we pretty much share. TheSnugg offers cases for each iPad model, kindles, iPhones, and other smartphones and tablets.

The first thing that caught my attention about the leather cases from TheSnugg is all the fun colors! It was really hard to decide between this pretty light blue or the perfect pastel pink! It also comes in orange, red, green, and another bright blue, just to mention a few. I will say that the actual color of this baby blue case is much lighter and more pastel in real life than the product photo on the site, but I actually like that better! It’s closer to a trendier, minty shade.

The case has a handy foldable cover flap that doubles as a stand. This means when I watch Netflix in the bath, the iPad will be much less precariously propped up on a stool, so that’s awesome. Haha. There’s also a cute little strap thingy on the back, securing it in your hand when you share your screen with others.

I asked Andrew for his critical opinion on the case as well and we both agree that all the materials seem really high quality–the leather is soft, the stitches are neat and clean, the iPad fits in perfectly, and the inside lining is a really nice suede fabric. For the price ($34.99), I’m impressed! Most iPad cases seem to start at about $30 and this one seems way nicer that some others I’ve seen and used at the same price point.

Honestly, I struggled to find anything negative to say about TheSnugg case! You should be warned that the colors might be slightly different than how they’re represented online, but other than that, I totally recommend TheSnugg.com. :)

  1. Oh!!! I definitely won’t have money for one of these babies for a long while but oh do I want! For Christmas, Jen’s parents bought us each a tablet and I actually plan on doing a little “What’s On My Tablet” post soon. Kind of like what’s in my bag… but yeah. Anyway! I want to start carrying my tablet around, etc. and having something so PRETTY would rock!!!

    GREAT review!

  2. Nice Design…

    Thanks

  3. Oh! I’ve been looking for a new ipad case, mine is pretty much dead, I LOVE the colour, off to check out the site now!
