Just a head’s up, guys–I let a lot of freelance work pile up in the week leading to the craft show so I’ll be a little MIA this week. Probably no Big Book of Cats post tomorrow, but I’m hoping to have a giveaway up on Thursday! Thanks for tolerating my craft hangover. :)

So I set up shop at my second ever craft show on Saturday! (You can read about my first show here) Green With Indie is an awesome annual show organized by a fabulous group of passionate arts and crafts enthusiasts from the St. Louis community. I was really surprised, flattered, and excited when I got the email letting me know my vendor application was accepted! I know they try to curate an awesome, diverse group and I was a little nervous to be such a novice there, but I was still honored and thrilled!
I used mostly the same display materials as last time with the addition of a proudly DIY’d chevron corkboard to display my hand-painted brooches and a cute scalloped cake plate from Target. I was a bit nervous about filling a whole table myself since last time I shared with Marie. I totally believe in quality over quantity though and I was pleased with my set-up!

I had so so much fun! I met so many super sweet, talented ladies and gents (who I plan to give shout-outs to on a Friday Faves post ASAP), bought myself tons of goodies, and sold a lot more than I expected! Over double what I sold last time! Almost all my conversation heart rings found homes, which makes me happy because I was so smitten with them myself.

I hope I continue to have such great experiences doing craft shows. It’s mostly for fun and to meet other people in the handmade community and not so much for the money, but so far I’ve been mostly able to break even. Covering the costs of my materials and entrance fees while having a total blast and seeing happy customers excited to take my work home is really all I could ask for!
I think my next sale is in May, but I’ll wait until the official vendor list is posted to officially share. I have some really cute, exciting ideas for new items! Here’s to hoping my time management skills improve a bit in April. Haha.
*Thanks to Alex for the last two instagram photos!

Your set up looks great, nice and clean. How did you like having your own table? did you enjoy it or did you miss having someone beside you?
Thank you, doll! I was a bit nervous, especially of having no one to talk to all day, but it was perfectly fine! I had friends stop by and a lot of super nice new people come talk, so there was never a dull moment!
I am so so happy for you Michelle! Your stand looks stupendous and the candy heart rings are too cute! ♡
Thank you, Kailey! <3 You are the sweetest forever!
It looks fantastic. I hope you did well, you deserve it. Will you be seeing anything online? I’d like to get a few prints and a ring.
Aww, thank you, doll! You always leave such nice comments and are such a rad person! <3
I’m working on re-stocking some rings and taking nice photos of the new prints for Etsy, but they’ll definitely find their way there soon.
Dude your stuff is so good!
Have you thought about doing the Porter Flea this year?

NASHVILLE!
Ahhh, thank you, Lauren. Your nice comments always make my day because I just adore you so much! :’)
I have definitely thought about doing Porter Flea! It seems like such an amazing event with such talented people! I want to go shop as much as I want to vendor! It’s pretty intimidating though. It’s so large and full of professional people… plus it’s less than 3 months away! Maybe I’ll feel ambitious and apply… I’ve been really wanting to make a trip to check out Nashville. You’ll have to recommend good food! :)
I love your set up! That chevron board is awesome. I could totally use something like that for my desk or as a jewelry display. Maybe I’ll make one soon! :)
