I’ve been super lucky and excited to welcome some awesome small businesses and rad ladies to my sidebar lately! I always want to support my lovely sponsors in ways that help each of us and feel very honest and natural on my blog, so rather than have a regular “Meet The Sponsors” sort of post, I’d like to do occasional round-ups of some of my favorite things these talented folks have been up to.
I’m really fascinated by Heather from JustLove.ly–she lives such a passionate, interesting life doing so many cool things! She recently adopted an adorable French Bulldog/Boston Terrier puppy and I loved reading about her experience bringing him home. I feel like I’ve been seeing multiple bloggers buying pups lately and that always bums me out. It’s great to see someone determined to adopt, even when things didn’t go 100% smoothly the first time!
Nat from Extra Large As Life has been participating in the Aussie Curves challenge and her latest look is so cute! A t-shirt paired with a high-waisted skirt and belt is one of my favorite looks and this one is extra sparkly and fun! I love the shoes, too.
I’ve been looking for a nice, sparkly statement necklace for ages. I tried to buy one with a gift card from an online boutique in time to wear to the STLBFA party, but I got an email telling me it was out of stock… several days later. -_- In grumpy response, I just headed over to Hello Cheeseburger, another lovely boutique who I knew would treat me better! Bought this pretty number for 25% off! Perfect.
Sarah of Bring More Yarn recently blogged about the re-opening of Re/Dress in Cleveland, OH! Re/Dress is a beloved plus size resale shop run by some truly bad ass ladies and I’m so happy they were able to re-open in a brick-and-mortar space. I would’ve loved to go to the opening!
I’m really excited for fall weather and to start wearing scarves and cowls again! They’re my favorite! This gigantic ombre cowl by Victory Garden Yarn on Scoutmob looks so dramatic and cozy! I love it!
If you haven’t being hearing about of CourseCraft, I’m sure you will be soon! It’s a wonderful site that makes it super easy to design and create your own online course about anything! You can make your class free or have people pay via CourseCraft to use it. The people involved are really passionate about the concept and I have a lot of faith in their awesome potential! I’m working on my own course right now and I’ll be excited to share more about the site and my class soon! :) xo
