I knew I had to plan an outfit around these flaw-free shoes at some point this week. I don’t often wear pants for special occasions or when I want to feel dressed-up, but I thought a simple look with some ripped up jeans would compliment the super glittery, glam heels. :) Friction naturally gave me some righteous rips in this veteran pair of jeans, so I gleefully took a pair of scissors to them last week and haven’t looked back. I dig ’em!
Another accessory I knew I wanted to rock is a set of kick-ass nails! I was inspired by a design from the amazing Chelsea Queen and painted these while catching up with my Real Housewives the other night. I feel like a did a better job applying them this time, but I still had issues with nails popping off. Ugh, I just don’t think I’m destined to be a DIY manicure master.
Last night was the Spring Into Fashion Runway Show at the St. Louis Galleria. It was a fun event for popular stores like Banana Republic, Fossil, Bebe, White House Black Market and Anthropologie to show off some new pieces for the season. I prefer seeing edgy outfits from designers on the runway, but that’s what Friday night is for! Last night we got to sit back and relax and basically window shop from our seats.
