Dress: Free People | Heels: Seychelles | Bag: Kate Spade

Last night was the grand finale of St. Louis Fashion Week! The Designer Showcase at Union Station featured a really amazing selection of local and national designers and boutiques. I took Hannah as my date and had a fabulous time hanging out with everyone, snacking, sipping cocktails, and admiring the gorgeous clothes! Union Station was a beautiful, spacious setting.

I always use special events as an excuse for some fashion treats. I really wanted to buy a new trapeze dress and fell in love with this dreamy Free People number from where else? Nordstrom Rack! What can I say? They treat me well. I found these adorable Seychelles heels there, too! I didn’t have the energy for fancy nails again, but I did pick up some fresh flowers and made my own floral crown! I’m so happy with how it turned out. I smell a future addiction…

During the cocktail hour, we got to enjoy some fashion presentations and my favorites were the sassy, bloody cat girls from Bluebird Apparel and those super cute swimsuits from Devil City! I seriously want that yellow bikini and pink, striped peplum suit!

Skif International is a hometown knitwear brand that really blew me away with the diversity of their designs and runway models. I loved all the textures and thoughtful styling. The collection felt like a wardrobe for a dystopian future midwest.

Novis totally charmed me with its color palettes, separates, and hand-embellished details. I was really drawn to the silhouettes, too. My favorite piece of all was the designer, Jordana’s dress! White polka-dot, translucent fit-and-flare over a matching crop top and skirt set? DREAMS!

While I really enjoyed each designer’s runway presentations, Project Runway alum Viktor Luna stole the show for me. His collection was edgy and theatrical and full of insane details. The models couldn’t walk by slowly enough–I always felt like I had so much more to look at! My favorite was the butt cleavage on the last model. Get it, gurl.

Harbison closed out the show with a beautiful menswear inspired collection with bold color blocking and surprising details. Oh, how I love that black and red muffler. <3

I had so much fun at STLFW events this week! Thanks so much to ALIVE Magazine and all their fine sponsors and collaborators for inviting me and always treating us local bloggers so well. I really enjoy being able to share it all with you guys. :) Thanks for reading! xo
